I made my layout with the Myspace Background Maker. Get myspace layouts, graphics, and flash toys at pYzam. Spread out a map of the great state of Texas and put your finger right smack dab in the middle. If you lift your finger you'll see where I was born: Brady, Texas. Texas was settled by Germans, Mexicans, Cowboys, Tennesseeans, and southern blacks, and they all brought their own brand of music with them. That very fact enabled me to be surrounded by an eclectic musical mix as a child. At an early age my family left the ranch and migrated to Ft. Worth, Texas where I was playing clubs on the Jacksboro highway by the age of fifteen. It was at this time that I began writing songs. Since then I have spent a lifetime writing, playing and recording. I have had blues bands, country bands, soul bands,rock &roll bands. You name it, I've played it. I have been trying for years to bring my style into the studio and come out with an album that truly expresses my feelings. Easier said than done,but I have just finished a new album with John Hill producing. This project includes Gary Craft on guitar,Barry "Frosty" Smith on Drums, Steve Mendell on Bass, Tommy Spurlock on steel, and New Orleans' own Joe Olivier ..boards. Take a listen and you'll see I'm finally home musically. It's a great place to be. Bare Bones is currently in the studio at Loma Ranch. This is a great band consisting of Justin Baker on Bass, Belton Arthur on Drums, and Rudi Rosenfeld on guitar. Of course we're all singing and I'm playin a little guitar myself. Once again, John Hill is producing. We are having a great time and making great music. Stay tuned, and... Y'all come!
