Burma Guns....
Strident alt rock with prowling guitars, raw vocals, pounding drums, hard hitting lyrics, and an edgy live presence, with great chemistry between the band members which has to be experienced live!
REVIEWS
With powerful yet well orchestrated and delivered tunes.Burma Guns stand out in a sea of contempory new wavers.
Flat pak yak promotions.
The three-piece brought a tremendous amount of energy along with powerful vocals to an already pumped crowd.
BFM Night.
Pure rock! These guys brought their own brand of hard hitting gutsy music to The Departure Bar. Burma Guns demonstrate great musicianship and a professional and edgy stage presence. A hard hitting start to the evening.

Such early musical ventures often go on to plague their creators for many years into the future, as the same older, wiser artists try desperately to bury all recorded evidence of their misguided youthful follies.
Luckily for the Burma Guns, these 3 songs shouldn't be coming back to haunt them for many years yet as they are of a surprisingly high quality for a first offering, recalling the likes of Nirvana, Biffy Clyro, and the earlier efforts of Silverchair and Feeder. Of the three on offer, 'Glitter ball' is the standout track: Its angular rhythms and spiky guitars leaving a distinctly Biffy shaped mark ingrained into your memory.
A bright future beckons!
You're so very welcome and thank YOU for being friends and stopping by! I'm chillin' this weekend. Had a little surgery yesterday so I'm gonna take lots of good drugs and no a lotta nothin' :) How about you? Got anything fun planned?

"STRAWHOUSES is all about that feeling that we're living blissfully unaware that we're on unsteady ground.
Their musical influences are diverse; from the melody kings of Radiohead, REM and U2, to the tribal beats of Killing Joke, to the darkest moments of Joy Division and The Smiths. "
"FAKE UNION is a project that strives to make thoughtful music. Making songs that are edgy and uncomfortable is what they are good at. So they keep doing it, with smiles on their faces and fists in the air!"
