Influences
If you meet us personally, we will tell you all of our influences loud and proud, and its a very large and diverse group of bands and musicians, ranging anywhere from 1930S blues music, to the heaviest metal on the fucking planet. Musically speaking however, this band is mostly interested in carving its own path, while wearing its influences on its sleeve..

Burn Blue Sky started making music together in the winter of 2000. The band started out as a side project, and has since blossomed into a full fledge rock band that has been playing the northeast ohio music scene and beyond since. Burn Blue Sky has released two independent CDs and are currently working on their best music yet as the follow up to their self titled full length 2005 release. Burn Blue Sky can be compared, but not limited to immitating such acts as: Down, Corrosion Of Conformity, Clutch, Alice In Chains and Pantera.
Burn Blue Sky is currently an independent band and owns a full recording studio to produce their own records. BBS also designs and prints their own merchandise and runs its official website and online store independently. Burn Blue Sky have been playing out again recently with new singer Ben Bivens throughout the summer of 2007 in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus and Akron Ohio, and will continue to play shows for the duration of 2008. These show dates have already started an impressive buzz about the band and brought in alot of new fans, which is very apparent just by looking at their myspace page. ALOT more to come. New music for the new cd has been recorded. We are just waiting for our singer to get done with vocals so we can mix this thing down proper and get it out to everyone. We are shooting for an early 2009 release.
Thanks Burn Blue Sky for standing for the truth, free speech, common sense, and our U.S. Constitution. It is the right thing to do and the only way to honor our troops, our nation, and ourselves.
