Bernd met all kind of good people around the world in his life. Grow up in Hamburg/Germany, The Star-Club, Beatles in Hamburg, early 60s, played around with his friends in Hesse - party - his sister Ulrike, Peter and Wilhelm whose family (von Schlieben) is incl. in quite a few European Royal Family Trees.This, incl. his sport - see below -, his military service 1063-65, had formed Bernd to be the person he is, being strong, know how to stand up, doing what he did and love ALL people.

What a deep story: Soldier from Iraq in jail with mental anguish because of the memories of the war, his wife at home and the power of love. The power of love wins at the end. - This song is just Bobby's solo vocal and his piano play. He completed this song before he passed in 1995, incl. in his last album 'It's Not Over' and will be part of our new compilation for Bobby DeBarge to establish his legacy and his gift to the world of music. The time is now and it is important to me to archieve this goal.
I was Born in Hamburg/Germany, I got involved in the music business in 1970, specialty R&B, Funk, Soul and Jazz. This is about my involvement in starting Motown artists Switch and DeBarge, 1976 and 1979, respectively. In addition, I have started, together with Ed Wright, Chico DeBarge on Motown in the mid 80s and managed the late Bobby DeBarge to the end of his life.
