The close of Orange County metal band Eighteen Visions could have signalled the end for frontman James Hart. Following the band's split in April 2007 James' motivation to remain in the music business led him to spend six months in Tulsa, OK with songwriter Zac Moloy, working on the foetal solo project which was to become Burn Halo.
The plan? To play rock 'n' roll without complications and reach out to, not only the old Eighteen Visions faithful, but to a whole new audience.

“My vision and my brand of rock ‘n’ roll without having to compromise on any of the songs or any of the material. I wanted to make a very straightforward rock album. Something that had commercial appeal, but also something that had a classic, vintage mid-‘80s throwback vibe to it.”

The album was recored within the space of just one month, although each of the twelve songs was already complete at the time of heading into the studio.

Expectant fans were pleased by the first single release; Dirty Little Girl, which features the talents of Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates, the follow up track; Dead End Roads 'n' Lost Highways was met with similar acclaim. The latest offering; Anejo, also a colaboration with Syn Gates, is proving to be just as popular!

Overcoming the record label obstacles which halted the 2008 release of the album, fans can look forward to buying their own copy of "Burn Halo" on the 10th March 2009!
