Annie	Oct 26 2007 6:03 PM Red Shoes Once upon a time there was a very poor little girl. She would gather sticks in the forest and then sell them for firewood, the only joy she had in her life were her red shoes which she had created for herself out of scraps of fabric. One day as she was selling firewood along the side of the road an old woman in a large carriage saw her and decided to adopt her. The old woman dressed her in fine clothing and burned the little girls red shoes which made her very sad. The old woman took the young girl shoe shopping for church shoes. While in the store the little girl saw on the very top most shelf a beautiful shiny pair of red shoes. The girl told the old woman that those were the ones she wanted, and the old woman having bad eye sight bought them for the young girl. The church was in an uproar over the scandalous nature of the young girls shoes. But that didn’t faze the little girl; she went skipping and dancing out of the church. She was having so much fun dancing that at first she did not notice that she no longer had any control over the shoes and that they were dancing of their own accord. She danced through forests and rivers and over mountains until finally she came to the home of a woods man. She was so desperate and practically dead. She begged the woods man to cut the straps on the shoes and he did but the shoes would not come off. In the end she begged him to cut her feet off, this he did and to this day she is a beggar on the side of the road. The End. –Retold by Annie Aube

She is then blamed by the village priests for seducing her father, and is kicked out of her village. As you can imagine she gets mad, not because of being raped or for the accusations of seduction, but because her father will not acknowledge her children as legitimate heirs. Well any ways she takes of the kingdom and at the end the horny old bastard is going to try and rape her again. She wipes out her knife and instead of stabbing him, cuts off her breasts. She throws her breasts at him saying, “If you like the taste of my flesh so much eat these!" Then she turns into the son and him the moon. The End. (Celtic Folklore)-Retold by Annie Aube
