Burning Bright, formerly known as Moonlight Drive, formed late June 2005 and since then has continued to write songs and play shows.
Burning Bright started things of with a bang when they entered their first gig, the Capreol Battle of the Bands last year and won.
A year has now passed since then and they have been playing non stop shows including Summerfest, Cambrians On the Rocks Pub, Townehouse, and Two Thumbs Up. They also have been making a name for themselfs down in Toronto playing shows at The Kathedral, The Reverb, and just recently The Opera house.
They have also entered in the Emergenza festival, an international battle of the bands where they competed in Toronto and made it to the Regional finals at the Opera House placing in the top 14 out of over 120 bands.
At the end of May, the band finished their first ever demo and hope to have a full length CD done by the end of the summer. The current tracks up right now are from the demo.

.. Hi there Burning Bright first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.

AHHHH it is Feb 13th the eve of the most Nauseating day of the year. In celebration of the horribly disgusting day that lies ahead, a young boy by the name of Eric M, no wait that's to obvious E. Miron was preparing to jump in the shower. This young man was about to get ready for school when he realized "school? who needs school when you can skip and listen to some Burning Bright tunes and rub yourself". So there he went with KY jelly in one hand and his mouse in the other, this young boy began to rock out with his cock out............litterally. As the fun and excitement escalated the young boy began asking himself "when the hell is the Burning Bright's album ganna come out?" With this question on his mind the boy put down the KY and began to write to the band about his concerns.............You boys seriusly need to record, it took me roughly 5 minutes to write this, that time could have been put towards listening to motion picture ending. Well I should get back to my busy schedual keep it real boys and keep in touch
