Since Burning Daylight’s conception in early 2007, the band has excelled across the board, making a name for themselves in the southwest hardcore/post hardcore scene. Offering a sound that sprawls from melodic and dynamic to inventively brutal, the band finds its sound evolving while not abandoning its musical roots.
With the musical influence of Finch, The Fall of Troy and Every Time I Die, alongside vocals influenced by bands such as Bayside, Thursday, Emery, He Is Legend and Norma Jean, Burning Daylight has vowed to never create predictable music and takes pride in producing an energetic and visually violent live show that is nothing short of heartfelt.
The band’s experience includes sharing the stage with Thursday, Bring Me the Horizon, Pierce the Veil during the 2009 Taste of Chaos Tour; Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, and Bless The Fall during the 2008 Taste of Chaos Tour; and played a stop at the 2007 Vans Warped Tour. Burning Daylight has also journeyed on two self-made tours, taking their music on the road everywhere from Texas, California, Colorado, Mexico and everywhere in between. The band has also recorded two albums the “Birthrights and Fist Fights EP” early 2007 and “..Dreams They Sold Us” 2008 and is currently writing for their third release which is slated for late 2009.
The members of Burning Daylight are determined to continue creating powerful and diverse music with aggressive but meaningful lyrics. They would like to thank all of their loyal friends and fans whom have made all of the band’s success possible.
