Burning Sunday --
is a Metal band currently operating out of South Western New Mexico, made up of an eclectic blend of scene veterans and talented new comers:
Larry:Founder, Drums and Percussions; Larry is a classicly trained drummer who made his debut with local cult band Trippswitch--.Larry was the first person approached by Bart to form Burning Sunday--.
Bartman: Founder,Guitars and backing vox; A veteran of the local Metal Scene, Bart honed his songwriting and shredding skills in such local acts as: Four, Tempest, Knightmare, Dominion, and Tresspass. He is the heart of Burning Sunday--.
Chance: Guitars and backing vox: Although new to the local scene, Chance has already demonstrated skill beyond that of players with more time under their belt. He was also hand picked by Bart.
John Wayne Legend:Lead Vox: Having spent time in local acts: Fatality, Altar Of Sacrifice, The Fallen, and Worlok, Legend then went onto form local cult fave Trippswitch--. It's his recent addition to the band and subsequent collaboration with Bartman that helps form the Burning Sunday-- sound.
Zakk: Bass and Backing Vox: A new-comer to the live scene, Zakk has been sharpening his skills playing with Legend in Black Metal scorchers Altar Of Sacrifice. He comes to the band with high recommendations from Legend.
It is this meeting of the Metal minds which create the sound known as
Southern Metal--
a mix of skull crushing music, shredding leads and powerful vocals that you can actually understand; that's the trademark of true Southern Metal!!!!
