Formed from the ashes of 2 different, hard working local bands, Burning the Lie is on a quest to create music that leaves their audience asking "WTF just happened?" Fronting the band, vocalist/guitarist Sonny (formerly of the band Porter) brings his unique vocal stylings and straight foward rock guitar sound to the stage with energy and passion in every note. Kieth (also from Porter) keeps the groove going with his very unique driving bass lines leaving other bassists with jaws wide open. Keeping it all in time and tight on the drums is Scott, (formerly of the band Dipthong) bringing funky beats and unusual time signitures to the mix. Influenced by extremely different artists, these three individuals take thier differences and pull it all together into the sound that is, Burning the Lie.
