Burning Truth "weaves a tapestry of 'gypsy fusion', bringing fiery visuals together
with melodic, acoustic-based sounds and a world beat." (Laura Eberly of The
Newport News Times)
Performances are a "sensory feast" with evocative vocals, fervent
instrumentation, and dynamic displays of fire, fabrics and dance. For each event new combinations of dance and music are cleverly crafted.
This 'wild band of gypsies' offers live, original music and fire dance theater for
special events, ceremonies, celebrations, festivals and other gatherings on the
Oregon Coast (as well as throughout the North West).
The Burning Truth performance troupe focuses on the intrinsic connection
between music, song, and dance while incorporating elements of theater and
mythic storytelling to reflect the changing seasons and The Wheel of the Year.
In the ancient language of sanskrit the original word for music is sangita which includes three elements: playing, singing and dancing. The members of Burning Truth Tribe perform a unique musical style of "Gypsy Rock Fusion." Original songs and Romani-inspired music are seamlessly blended with the inventive choreography of the dancers.
The audience is swept up in a beautiful ballet of visual delight in perfect harmony with the The Tribe's enticing world beat.
Burning Truth is dedicated to the celebration of life. Through music, song and dance, we seek to provoke thought, movement and imagination, sparking the tender inner-fires in all of us.
