Photobucket
After several member changes, Burn In Silence has settled on the new line up to carry on the future of BIS. We’d like to welcome Wes Kelly to our family as he will be joining us on bass guitar. Andy (drums) and Jason (guitar) joined the band for the last tour and have bonded well with the veteran members Chris (vocals) and Ben (keyboards). All are excited and anxious for the upcoming months. Tour dates for the new year will be posted soon, and new material will begin to be leaked as it is recorded. There will also be a music video released for Watching Dead Leaves Fall, from our debut album Angel Maker, featuring the new line up. Stay tuned for updates and information as there is much more to come. We wish you all a happy holidays and look forward to seeing you early ‘08.

Check us out at our Purevolume page as well

BURN IN SILENCE is coming for you. This metal wrecking machine will not be stopped until they have laid every genre trend to waste. Their Prosthetic Records debut Angel Maker signals the beginning of a musical apocalypse. This is not metalcore, emo, or nu metal. But rather, it is something dangerous, infectious, and undeniable.

Upon pressing play, you'll plunge into an entrancing whirlwind of devastation. Thrash guitars and grooving riffs flank a percussive double bass salvo that explodes upon impact.

Melodic choruses soar to heights of macabre beauty, while violent screams descend downward like a guillotine. Keyboards bleed texture all over the destruction, painting a backdrop that covers every inch of Hell.

Cuts like "Lines from an Epitaph" and "Embrace the Plague" bludgeon with a pure inner rage that some artists spend a lifetime attempting to harness. On these tracks, polyrhythmic riff work shifts into technical guitars as melody from the keyboards and choruses engulf the entire sound. These six men from Massachusetts plan on driving listeners straight to the center of darkness and back.

Burn In Silence has already decimated stages all over the Northeast alongside everyone from Damageplan to Shadows Fall, to Morbid Angel. Having cultivated a live show to be reckoned with, the band stands ready to pummel audiences all over the world.

Their Ken Susi produced EP Pure As Your First Day paved the way for their first full length. Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Himsa) mixed the metallic mastery. Tapping into the elements of great metal, the band has already become a cohesive and driven unit. With a mix of incredible production, musical talent, tireless work ethic, and a thirst to be distinct, these artists are destined to become integral to the future of the entire genre.

You guys keep making metal and the rest of us will stay happy. All you guys come check out our shit, and add a friend request. With our new lineup, were starting fresh, and we’re almost done with some new songs! Keep look for new updates...hopefully we'll get to record in an actual studio rather than a fucking basement like a bunch of lil’ kids. Also check out page for band diaries about all the diff lineup changes and also video diaries that are soon to come. We finally are stable and can actually do gigs, but the future is still unsure. Anyways, thanks guys for the support…we’ll be listening.

With metal in our hearts!

I remember when this band first sent me a friends request. The music was so fucking awesome, the next day I was at the mall and I randomly saw the album buried in a pile of CDs. Bought it that day and turned all my friends to fans.
