I am trained to write music in the classical idiom, to chop breaks on the drum machine, to mix wax on the decks and to play bass with a fuzz pedal. I'm not too bad as an engineer, either. I used to play the violin and I still do from time to time, but not to the capacity I used to. I've never owned a guitar. Funny, no? I'm not terrible at it, but I've often had one of James' around. I cannot sing or write words to save my life.
