Great gig at The Years Rock Club
Thanks to Mark, the other bands and everyone who came to see us play. We haven't enjoyed a gig so much in a long time and we rocked out. Hope to play there again real soon.
Recent Developments
Burnthouse have managed to get a place in the Portland Rock Bar's Battle of the Bands 08. We are playing on 12th November 2008 (see our upcoming shows list for further details). Please come and support us if you like what you hear, it should be a good night.
ALBUM
The tracks above are taken from our new Album 'Pristine'. We have now completed recording and mixing and are working on the cover art. If you come to the Portland Rock Bar's "Battle of the Bands 08" (see our upcoming shows) you may be able to get a bootleg copy.

Biog
Burnthouse proper formed in June 2005. This is how we got to that point.
Giles and Patrick were in Little 10. When that band split up in June 2002, they with Wayne (also in Little 10) formed Elevation which was an instrumental band. Wayne left us in January 2003 and Justin (from the band Stalingrad) joined a month later. Still instrumental but looking for a singer the while, we gigged and recorded demos. When we'd all but given up finding a vocalist Fraser (who was in the band Heat) contacted us and joined in March 2004. We changed our name to Burnthouse and recorded a few demos. In winter 2004 we left Justin, and after a few months of Fraser playing bass as well as singing, we found Chris (who'd played in Ripchord) in June 2005. Since then we have rehearsing and gigging. It's all going well and we are very happy.

Recently announced winners of the BBC Albert Sessions competition on South:Live. Radio interview on 9th July at 7:15 on BBC Southern Counties Radio. Regular gigs at the Albert, Brighton, plus radio air time and support gigs at the Concorde 2. Keep an eye on our gigs list - things may start to kick off!
New EP reocrded in London (3 tracks). Again a long day as we recorded and mixed it all in one go (we like a challenge). These tracks can be found on the Channel 4 Music site below. We are now thinking of combining the two EPs and with a few more tracks producing our own album which would be cool.
