Three piece progressive rock band BUSHIDO unleashed their signature sound onto Melbourne in 2002 with their Debut EP – LAST BREATH – which sold out within six months of its release!
The live scene welcomed BUSHIDO wholeheartedly, inviting the band onto stage with the likes of COG, TESTEAGLES, SUNK LOTO and KARNIVOOL. Bushido markedly and consistently impressed punters and fellow musos alike and the fan base built very quickly. The boys fast gained notoriety for their signature style, precise and controlled proficiency and distinctive flair and were fast and widely hailed as “a force to be reckoned with”.
Since the release of MERCINA in June 2006 (distributed nationally through MGM), BUSHIDO have been busy touring the EP across the East and West coasts, playing festivals such as the PYRAMID ROCK FESTIVAL, as well as supporting the likes of KARNIVOOL, SEBASTIAN BACH (Skid Row),.HINGE and MAMMAL. In June 2007, The lads burst into a mammoth line-up of Australian music for Sydney's COME TOGETHER FESTIVAL proving, once again, their rightful place in the scene. In June and July, the lads toured the East Coast with KARNIVOOL and then in August and September, hit the road again with DEAD LETTER CIRCUS. Their most recent East Coast run saw them sharing gear a bus, and stage and supported by powerful up-comers, SLEEP PARADE.
BUSHIDO are currently taking a 6 month break - STAY TUNED!
