Until now that is. Calgary’s BUSH LEAGUE is setting out to change that.

Leading edge musicianship; amazing, diverse four part vocals; a great set list that manages to meld old rock favorites with the newest pop hits that you never imagined a rock band could do…

BRIAN MULDOON (vocals/guitar) is a familiar face around Calgary’s “A” circuit. He has been involved with several successful original projects and well known cover bands including the original line up of THE LONELY BUTCHERS with Reed. Brian is best known for diverse vocals and ability to cover material that most singers would run from. In addition, his guitar playing adds a powerful dimension to the sound of the band

RYAN GARTNER (vocals/bass) is new to the cover scene, having cut his teeth in many original projects, most notably as the leader/frontman of CHYSHUGA. Having two of the best singers in Calgary in one band is awesome and Ryan brings an edge to material ranging from heavy rock to R&B. He also plays bass, but really anybody can do that…

REED SHIMOZAWA (guitar/vocals) was a founding member of Universal recording act ZUCKERBABY. In addition he has contributed to other familiar bands doing both original and cover material (SMASH LA, THE BUTCHERS, CHYSHUGA). Despite having many years of experience in live music, he still loves to play. Imagine that.

GREG STANG (drums/vocals) is brand spanking new to the band, still sporting his Bush League diapers. We don't know much about Greg to date other than he likes cold beers, unicorn tattoos and... he's always smiling. We don't trust him whatsoever, but he smashes the hell outta his drums, shows up on time and he can sing the hell out of a country tune. If you ever see Greg in the middle of the night hitch hiking... do yourself a favor and keep driving.

BUSH LEAGUE It’s a novel idea… keep the girls dancing and the guys will be happy. Keep it fresh. Play the songs that people like, not the songs that the band members like. Have fun. Sounds simple doesn’t it? This band looks and sounds great. All the experience you could ask for without the jaded attitudes that usually come with it.
