Nothing is more distinctly London than the humble busker. Our capital boasts the largest organised busking scheme in the world, and I think it’s something we should boast about. Sure, other cities have buskers, but London has the best- we typify the street musician more than any other city in the world.
With this in mind we are making a compilation album capturing the essence of the London busker in their natural habitat - in action on the licensed pitches, warts and all.
