Be Focus Records (A-BIZ)

"Be Focus" is not just a name or a description, it is the attitude of life of the two people that founded this label: be the focus!
Be Focus Records is an indipendent HipHop Label based in germany and founded by Andre aka A-BIZ and Marco aka B-Doub in 2008. Without any mastering and promotion, without concept and distribution and without professional structure there came up the solo album “jetzt wird tacheles geredet“ of Tacheles, a member of CTTG which has been elected to the “newcomer album of the month“ by the JUICE MAGAZINE.
After a sudden commercial success the participants realized that they..ll have to link to this success just with more structure and order.
Their first officially distributed release “Gedankenkino“ came out on april 2009 and was the debut of the band CTTG – Cradle to the Grave.
On the producer and feature list you can find musical ingredients such as soulsinger Nelson Müller and the US-Rap veteran Grand Agent but also artists from their neighborhood such as Preme from Black Market, Suspee aka Olliwho? and many more.
The beats are mostly produced by B-Doub & Tacheles but also Jazztronaut, Dj Dextra and Kev Brown have their fingers in the pie.

Up next Be Focus Records released the album “Shine Through“ in cooperation with Soulution, a producer from the netherlands. The titletrack of the album, performed by Kam Moye aka Supastition was picked by the JUICE MAGAZINE for the JUICE CD (issue 01-02/2010) on december 2009. Also on the album are artists such as Asheru, Talib Kweli, Bahamadia, Stacy Epps, Brotha Soul, Mr J Medeiros, Sivion, Rita J and more.

Here we go! 2010 continues with the eagerly awaited album of the inhouse producer B-Doub, who selected different underground hiphop allstars for this project.
The album is called "Food for thought" and will be presented on the HipHop Kemp in Czech Republic (August 19th - August 21st).
You can be curious to hear combos such as AG & Edo G / Sadat X, Maylay Sparks & Keith Murray / Mc Eiht & King T / L.E.G.A.C.Y, Punchline & Nomis / Craig G & Reks / El Da Sensei & Internal Quest and solos of Oddisee / Othello / 1773 / Wildchild / The Good People / Access Immortal.

“Be Focus“ ist nicht irgendein Name, sondern die Lebenseinstellung der Betreiber dieses Labels: Sei der Brennpunkt!
Be Focus Records ist ein in Deutschland ansässiges Indipendent HipHop Label welches im Jahre 2008 von André aka “A-BIZ“ und Marco aka “B-DOUB“ ins Leben gerufen wurde.
Ohne Mastering, ohne Werbung, ohne Konzept, ohne Vertrieb und eigentlich ohne jede professionelle Struktur entstand 2007 in Zusammenarbeit mit Partner Tacheles das Solo Album des CTTG Künstlers “Jetzt wird tacheles geredet“, welches vom “JUICE Magazin“ gleich zum “Newcomer-Album des Monats“ auserkoren wurde.
Nach einem überraschenden Verkaufserfolg war den Beteiligten klar, dass sie genau da weitermachen müssen – nur mit mehr Struktur und Ordnung.
Als erstes offiziell veröffentlichtes Album erschien im April 2009 “Gedankenkino“, die Debütscheibe von “CTTG - Cradle to the Grave“.

Auf der Produzenten- und Featureliste stehen musikalische Zutaten vom Feinsten. Neben Soulsänger Nelson Müller mischt der bekannte US-Rap-Veteran Grand Agent mit, daneben machen Leute aus der Nachbarschaft wie Preme von Black Market, Suspee aka Olliwho? uvm die Scheibe rund. Die Beats kommen größtenteils von B-Doub & Tacheles, aber auch Jazztronaut, DJ Dextra & Kev Brown haben auch die Finger im Spiel.

Für das nächste Projekt haben sich Be Focus Records mit dem niederländischen Producer Soulution um das Album “Shine Through“ herauszubringen. Der gleichnamige Titelsong performed by Kam Moye aka Supastition wird bereits im Dezember 2009 auf der CD des JUICE Magazins (Ausgabe 01 - 02/2010) präsentiert.
Ebenfalls auf dem Album vertreten sind Asheru, Talib Kweli, Bahamadia, Stacy Epps, Brotha Soul, Mr J Medeiros, Sivion, Rita J uvm.

Weiter geht es in 2010 mit dem lang ersehnten Album des Inhouse Producers B-Doub, der mit seiner Auswahl an Underground Allstars des HipHops einen Ass aus dem Ärmel gezogen hat. Das Album trägt den Titel “Food for Thought“, wird im August 2010 veröffentlicht und auf dem HipHop Kemp in Tschechien (19. -21.08.2010) präsentiert. Man kann auf Kombos wie z.B. AG & Edo G / Sadat X, Maylay Sparks & Keith Murray / Mc Eiht & King T / L.E.G.A.C.Y, Punchline & Nomis / Craig G & Reks / El Da Sensei & Internal Quest sowie Solos von Oddisee / Othello / 1773 / Wildchild / The Good People / Access Immortal gespannt sein.
