I am thinking today of my youth. My Mother and Daddy
did not go to church with me but made sure I got up on
Sunday morning and off theysent me to chruch. I lived in
a small town and it was a little white building and I
remember lots of kids going to it. It was Quinlan Babtist
Church just one block off Main Street. We had one preacher
that I can rember all the years that I went there as a child.
He was s shouting preacher and always walked all around
on the stage. I always thought he was talking only about me.





 






   

I Was always very good as a child. One Sunday School
teacher that I remember was Mrs. McBride. She was the
very best woman that I can ever remember.

 

 

Our preacher was Bro. Steger and he had a large family.
His wife and kids aways sat on the front pew. I remember
wishing my mom and dad would come with me.  










We always had a small choir and sometime I would get to
sing with them. I really enjoyed the singing and still do today.
