Reading, writing, playing with my kids, collecting items that have butterflies on them, Oriental masks, flower gardening and veggie gardening, spending time with my family and cooking.
Music
I love a variety of music....Right now some of my favorites are Daughtry, Gwen Stefani, Sara Bareilles, Robin Thicke, Maroon 5 and all kinds of country music as well as pop and rock, but I also love all the oldies from the 50's all the way through some of the most current. I was a child of the 70's and 80's and love all the old songs from my youth. I also listen to modern Christian rock/pop.
Movies
I like all kinds of movies. Some of my favorites are Grease 1 & 2, The Cutting Edge, most of the ones that have been made from Jane Austen novels, most especially Persuasion. I also like Flicka, Just Like Heaven, Anything with Adam Sandler, The Notebook. Movies about writers- Alex and Emma, Little Women, Stranger Than Fiction---the list could go on and on.
Television
Some of my favorite shows on television are-
Days of Our Lives, Ghost Hunters, Bones, House, Ugly Betty, Men in Trees, Supernatural, New Amsterdam, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, American Idol, Heroes, Eureka.
Books

V.C. Andrews, Tanith Lee, Jane Austen, D.H. Lawrence. I also like romance novels and poetry, especially some of the more obscure poetry like from the Poemfone poets and Jewel.

About me:
I am Taryn Raye, romance writer and member of RWA and the Kentucky chapter- KYRW. I finished my first novel in October of 2006. I wrote and finished my 2nd novel during NaNoWriMo 2006(National Novel Writing Month). I finished my 3rd novel in August 2007 and have worked on some revisions of all three of my novels. I won NaNo '07 by hitting 50K on my 4th novel and finished the first draft of it on the 3rd of January. I wrote my fifth through eighth during the first half of 2008. I just finished novel number 9, which was my last NaNoWriMo Novel. It's that time of year again- NaNo 09, novel #10.
