Movies
I think Boxing Helena is a Hollywood masterpiece; and that Basinger made the biggest career blunder of her life pulling out of it. I am also partial to Reservoir Dogs, Full Metal Jacket, The Full Monty, The Adventures of Milo and Otis, and The Princess Bride. Yeah, you could say that I'm eclectic.
Television
Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, House (even though it's a load of BS), NCIS (a bigger load of BS), and Law and Order: SVU (the biggest load of on-screen BS since the load of BS that got dumped on Biff in Back to the Future); and Big Bang Theory.
Books
To Kill a Mockingbird has been my favorite since sixth grade. I also love Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Last Unicorn, and anything by Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, and Chuck P! (Please don't ask me to remember the spelling of his last name...I always mess it up!).I love the Joe Grey Mysteries by Shirley Rousseau Murphy, and can recite the children's book Sheep in a Jeep from memory.

I am currently working towards a degree in Forensic Science. Yep, at age 36! Sometimes life takes you on a new path halfway through the woods. (Thank you, Stephen Sondhiem for that lovely metaphor).

I am the Senior Tutor at the CCRI Knight Student Success Center, but can usually be found in the laboratories - Biology, Chemistry, and Math. Because of this, I am rarely dressed as nicely as I am in my profile pic (the first time you spill NaOH on your favorite jeans you will understand why!).
