Wow I have so many interest that I jump from one activity to another. I truly have not found too many things that I just do not like doing. I love being out doors so anything that involves being in the sunshine is always a plus.
Kayaking, biking hiking, running, traveling, swimming, scocer, gardening, music, art, fishing, horse back ridding, road racing, indy cars, decorating, quilting, antiques, laying in a hammock, reading, shopping, especially for shoes.. just enjoying life every day...

I truly believe I live an enchanted life. This does not mean I do not have problems in my life, I just choose to see and remember all the good and I forget and forgive anything bad that happens in my life. I am a fiery soul & very passionate about all I do and believe in. What you see is what you get. I will tell it like it is in a good ol southern manor with grace and charm & no malice intended only love and light. I will not just blurt my opinion out there, you will have to ask me what I think before I tell you, but you will get an honest straight forward answer out of me. My husband Robert and I have our own window mfg. company. We bought the company at the tender age of 18 & 19. We have come such a long way since then. We started out with just him and me and 1 employee. We now have 20 employees and are still growing. We are truly amazed at the success of the business and our long marriage. 24 years in the marriage and 23 in the business. My daughter just celebrated her 23rd b-day. WOW. I still feel 25…….. With all the good and the bad life has been grand.
Life is always new and exciting everyday. I enjoy so many different activates that I find it hard to stick to just one. Working, Running, Travel, Gardening, Music, Kayaking, Art and spending time with my Friends and Family are some of my long term passions. I have in the last 3 months gone total green. This is something that has always bothered me how much we waste and throw away in our society. So I have taken on recycling everything the recycle center will allow me. I am still so amazed at how much plastic I can accumulate in just a weeks time. It takes a bit of work and organization to recycle every thing I do, but it sure is worth it. I now get upset when we go out to eat and i see so much plastic and paper being thrown away. Our little town does not demand that you recycle yet. I hope to change all that....
I still believe that all it takes is just one person to set an example & this will cause a ripple in the pond. Treading lightly on the earth is my new goal..
