Sounds Like
Raw blues recordings by crude older men from Peoria's southside. Sounds like men who've done a lot of fucking up and it makes them angry. Sounds like most of the fucking up involved substance abuse and ill-fated relationships with women... more young than old. It ends up sounding like whatever they want it to, though they're not ones for details.
"The Buttermilk 5 have seen all levels of success in Peoria, IL over the past 6 decades or whatever. They had flashes of local flame in the late 50s, late 60s, mid 70s, never in the 80s or 90s, and now hope to rekindle something akin to a "comeback," though for what, I do not know. Regardless, they are a true Peoria blues band, full of regret and apathy... not to mention the personalities of dirty old men."
