Butterthief has just dropped the Fat Pockets Butterthief Phat Tape which features exclusive music by Social Change, Crossbred Mongrels with Chris Bass, Dialect & K21 plus guest appearances by 2Biz of Common Cause and Mesha of Taylor Made Tactix. Butterthief has also recently released the Social Change "Double Banger" promotion disc which features two brand new tracks from the upcoming Social Change album and includes the Social Change bonus single "REAL". Previous releases include the debut album by Dialect "Rugged Uncut Project" as well as the Social Change "V.High.E.P". Butterthief has produced the video for Social Change classic "LIFTED" and artist Dialect has appeared on the new album by C-Rayz Walz (USA).
Fat Pockets "Butterthief Phat Tape" and the "Double Banger" tracks :Black Text" and "Putting in Work" are all now streaming online, and will be available in stores on CD soon. Established by Social Change (Funkwig, DJ Snair and emcee Social Change), Butterthief has grown into a strong collective of musicians, DJ's, producers and emcees.
