This myspace is created for people who come and dance all night at Buttoned Down Disco, the London clubbing phenomenon.

Buttoned Down Disco has been running parties in London for nearly seven years now. Originally, we felt that a lot of clubs in London were a little stagnant, so we decided to be proactive and start our own night and play the music that we liked. Our parties are invite-only, meaning we keep the random passing trade out, and the music lovers in! Over the course of the last five years, we have rocked 27 different London venues, including Infinity, Eve Club, Bloomsbury Ballroom, 93 Feet East, KOKO, The Forum and even the V&A Museum! After four years of holding parties in various secret locations, we are now proud to announce a monthly residency at the magnificent KOKO in Camden. Entry is, as always, strictly invite only.

Musically, we play tracks that we like at the time, rather than just the bands of the moment. Club founder and resident DJ Christian Laing mashes up Eclectic Pop, Indie, Punk, Electro, Funk & Disco, although you might also hear some Dub, Reggae, Ska, Soul, Motown, Psychedelic Garage Rock, Bubblegum Pop, Baile Funk, New Wave, Neu-Rave, One Hit Wonders, Breakdance, Bhangra, Bollywood, Quirky Cover Versions, Japanese Pop, Doo Wop, Hip Hop, Mash Ups and Soundtracks. Our parties are FREE before 10pm, then £10 afterwards. We tend to often get venues to run special drinks deals for our parties, which will typically run until midnight. All parties are invite only and we operate a door policy to ensure a happy, safe atmosphere for everyone to enjoy the night. Request invites here. Once you are signed up, we will send you invites by email which contain details about each party. You then print the invite and bring it along with you on the night - simple. If you want to invite friends along, either get them to sign up, or simply copy your invites for them!

After years of moving around and rocking many different London venues, and although we will still do a few secret location parties, we are finally settling down for a monthly residency at KOKO in Camden.

KOKO is widely regarded as the best venue in London, having hosted secret gigs by the likes of Prince and Madonna in the last two years. Since it's £4.5m refurb in 2005, pretty much all London music lovers will have danced under Europe's largest disco ball, gasped at the amazing views from the balconies, and danced their socks off thanks to the ace music ethos all powered through one of the capital's best soundsystems.

Put simply, it rocks - and so do we. So we're settling down together to rock you.
