About me:
We are organizing a protest on NOVEMBER 24TH, AT ONE O CLOCK AT THE RIDEAU CENTRE which is the international buy nothing day. The reason we picked this over the American date, November 23rd, is that more people are likely to be there on a weekend. WHAT THE PROTEST WILL BE:
Basically, half of the people will protest around the Rideau centre against mass consumerism, and the second half will be inside the Rideau centre.
The first half will conventionally revendicate what we advocate by marching, chanting and carrying signs.
The people inside will, in large groups of a dozen or so, walk inside the rideau centre slowly and obnoxiously. For more information on both ways to protest, consult the individual sections.
