About me: Our style of karate is U.S.A Goju Federation, a traditional Japanese Goju style. Goju has blossomed into one of the most prestigious martial arts styles today. USA Goju deals with reality techniques, as well as, maintaining the traditional disciplines of Miyagi's times.
I've trained in the martial arts for the majority of my life. I started my journey at the age of six and continue on this path till this day--its a part of me. I am currently under the guidance of Master Steve Ciriaco and Master Michelle Ratthe.
Who I'd like to meet: Martial Artists from Around the World.
Those of you who are interested in learning: self-defense, traditional forms, weapons, or just like working out, are welcome to come visit us at either the Pembroke Pines Dojo or the Plantation Dojo
Thank you for your kind Comment about my humble pictures.
I am heavily study classical books on philosophy, strategy, and history to find my quotes. Then I humbly begin to piece together my photo and graphics.
The main books I have been studying and using quotes from are.
The Art of Peace by Morihei Ueshiba The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi The Art of War by Sun Tzu Tao Te Ching by Lao Tsu The Karate Dojo by Peter Urban (not as old as the others, but it is a excellent book)
The quotes I have been using lately mostly have been coming from The Art of Peace.
I feel the study of the martial arts must include the study of the philosophy. This is so we can evolve into the human we want to be.
