How could I forget Buzz Music? I bought some of my favourite albums there in the early 70's. I used to manage Forbuoys newsagent in Whitecross and left the staff in charge most Saturday afternoons so I could get Buzzin - he he. All the best Dave (aka Twang)
Who you'd like to meet... Cliff Campbell? I think there could be quite a few who'd like to catch up with him... lol! I sang on his recordings of 1980 and something about a train. Can't remember now. We spent many dark hours at Chapel Lane.
Thanks for the add. I was only about 13 when Buzz was in it's heyday. Used to travel up on the 538 from Ross once a month to buy used albums and sneak in a few notes on basses I couldn't afford - wonderful. Had one of those Hawkwind tickets too (and Curved Air from the same venue/year)
Hi Andy, You mentioned Hawkwind so I thought you'd like to see this Malvern Winter Gardens ticket stub from those day's! Keep in touch and expect some shared writings from here about Buzz Music eventually!..Best wishes In memory of JHS
It's very worthy that this wonderful place should be remembered. Keep up the good work. Will contribute further with some happy memories when I have a few moments.
Oh My God Andy that brought back some memories...not least my treasured white Rickenbacker 4001 bass custom bought from Buzz back in...too long ago! I wonder whose loft it's in now?
Lol remembers Buzz Music with fond memories picking up new equipment in the van. Buzz supplied 8 and 16 track equipment in the early 80's and Paul Cobbold did the installations! Great building!
Nice to be friends, Buzz Music!...What a shop, a gathering place...Many a happy hour or afternoon was spent there during the 70's, so many memories..I have a few too share..Do you? Wishing you all the best for 2008 In memory of JHS
Hi Andy, I don't think we have any photos from that venue though we do have a lot from that period where I used a Roland GR500 guitar synth live. I now use a VG99 and a GR33 to make upsetting noises!

Welcome to the pages dedicated to great memories of the Buzz Music shop which traded from the early seventies to the early eighties.
My memories of Buzz are from 1978 as a customer before working in the keyboards and hire departments from spring 1980 but many of you were there at the very beginning. We welcome Blog entries, comments and messages from customers and staff plus the growing list of new friends fascinated by the Legend of Buzz Music. Youtube and MySpace videos here reflect some of the artists of the Buzz Music era, either heard on vinyl and cassettes for sale in the music shop or on tour with the Buzz P.A. Systems or perhaps using the Buzz Mobile Studio.
The original first weeks' 'About Me' text now resides as a Blog for archive purposes as it was my personal experience of Buzz Music. Please read the Blog Section entries and contribute a story or two yourself.

Great to see you've taken the Hereford Bull by the horns and paid tribute to Buzz ... their arm was long and is still reaching out.
