A Power Punk Trio from the Home of Metal in the Black Country, This 3 piece seamlessly blur the boundary’s of Classic Rock such as Deep Purple & Steppenwolf, Old Skool Metal such as Black Sabbath & Motorhead all mixed with the Punk attitude of The Sex Pistol and The Rezillos and the like, Giving Buzzard a unique sound all of their own. Performing a mixed set of covers and originals Buzzard really have got something for everyone.     We are Buzzard, a three piece rock trio based in Dudley, West Midlands. Our sound is the basic essence of old school classic rock mixed with the more modern sounds of punk, grunge and metal. Buzzard was first formed by Guitarist James Croutear and Bassist Andy Vernon in early 2011 following the demise of their previous band 'My Own Worst Enema'. After an initial rough patch of potential drummers coming and going, the band finally started to find its feet when out of the blue now current Drummer Jared Shilvock was found advertising himself as available and seeking a band. The three promptly got together for a jam at the Basement Studios in Dudley all not really knowing what to expect. To their surprise Andy and James were won over by Jaz long before the jam was even over, not only because of his drumming ability, but because of his confidence and brilliant sense of humour. The new line up was complete. Shortly after this the band attended the local jam night at the Barge & Barrel in Tipton and played their first ever live performance together with Jaz now onboard. The band decided lastly after a few covers to play their first song they had ever written together 'No Quit' the crowd loved it and the night was a success. It is now the bands ambition to write more material and eventually produce an album whilst in the process of this getting out there on the live circuit gaining more experience, more fans and more friends as we go. Buzzard is an honest rock band, if we cant pull it off live we don't do it in the studio, simply put. This is a huge mistake too many modern bands are now making. The mere definition of what rock is nowadays is quite frankly embarrassing. Reality television is poisoning peoples minds and has gone too far.
