I am Rick the coconut...brown on the outside and white deep down, I'M NOT MEXICAN AT ALL OTHER THAN I KNOW SPANISH AND LOOK MEXICAN AND THAT'S IT, SO YOU KNOW I'M WHITE...WHITE...heheheh. I'm a metalhead but I listen to all kinds of music, I'm also an artist, musician, song and story writer.
I dress how I'll always dress for the rest of my life, I like to wear band-shirts shorts boots, and a chain around my neck. I am nobody now but I will make an impact and that's no lie.
I pretty much raised myself and my sister till I was 18 and I moved out of my abusive dads place and started to live with my friends, I was homeless twice after that but I knew that I was going to do something with my life and leaving was the first step in all of that. My father hated me for who I was, the music I listened to and my friends, who I thank everyday because they were my first real friends and they looked out for me like I looked out for them.
I worked on my art all the time cause I knew if I fed it enough it would grow into something. I've worked all my life in jobs that I hated but respected those who had to put up with a lot of the jerks they have to deal with everyday.
No matter where I worked I knew it wasn't for me, I knew when I was 14 that I had something to do, I've got plans that have been set in motion. I have so many ideas for so many things I hope I have time to do them all before I die.
Being poor my whole life showed me how to survive and grow, I say it's fate, We are dust in the wind, but I think fate is the wind that flows a certain direction to show us something and to teach us what we need to learn in life, some people ignore it and some embrace it.
I never cared if someone wins their fight as much as I admire the fact that they stood up and decided to fight for whatever the believe in.
I'm glad that I have never had any support from anyone when I was growing up, My mother did help a lot and talked to me when I needed talking to. I may be agnostic ut I do pray and I do believe for a fact that god helped me through a lot of things when I thought I had nothing left.
I'm thankful for the people I've met over the years, they all taught me things even though they might not know it, they did.
And if you used to know me, know that I don't forget the ones who were there, the ones who made me laugh when I needed it, and those who I made laugh. I couldn't take life too seriously, I'm a goof off, and I always will try to help my friends and anyone who I think needs a little help.
I'm glad I finally am going in the direction my life needs to go in. I'm now looking for work but at the same time freelancing my art, I've got a couple of things and projects working right now so wish me luck even though luck hates me. I'm working my way up the rest of this damn mountain like I did my whole life, Everything has been an uphill battle since I was born and I am who I am because of that so thanks God and all the shit you give me and toss my way cause it makes me strong.
I just started a great relationship(which is now over)we planned on getting married and she's got three great kids...spoiled but still pretty great. I just started a new job so I'll be working all day and doin' what I do best you know that's right.
I also have just found a lead guitarist for my band and a singer as well, we will be recording soon, and we will be changing the band name also, hopefully if we all agree on it we'll call it ZERO but if not it doesn't matter as long as I can create. Soon we will play some bars or clubs whatever we can get sometime this year and hopefully we will have a good underground following.
