Influences throughout the years were many people, songs and styles. My love for playing the blues and music in general came from these among others: Lightnin' Hopkins, "Green Onions", Sam & Dave, James Brown, the entire era of R&B, Soul and Beach Music (I’m not talking the Beach Boys and Jan and Dean here. You cats in the Carolinas know what I really mean when I say Beach Music… give a listen to the nice medley below), Little Walter, Ten Years After (Think “I’m Going Home”), BB King, Taj Mahal, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin (Inspiring us with “Try Just A Little Bit Harder”).
Paul Butterfield has been an influence on my style too. A friend of mine recently turned me onto this piece, which I had never Butterfield do before. (Thanks DC!) I hope you enjoy this awesome tune. Dig the bass jam in the middle, too.
"Buzz'-saw"... 1. A circular saw; - so called from the buzzing it makes when running at full speed. ®1913 by Merriam Co."
"I'll play for show or play for dough and when I'm done I'll play some mo."
A father of a grown son and daughter, I’m single but that's not necessarily a permanent condition. I'm a fan of NPR Radio and enjoy Click and Clack, aka Tom and Ray Magliozzi; and Garrison Keillor’s, “A Prairie Home Companion”.
I try to give back to the community with a volunteer work whenever I’m in town. Enjoy hanging out with friends and family. I own a promotions company, which keeps me in gear, and play in the bands- Rhythm and Rhythm Street Players. I look forward to meeting other musicians and music lovers out there.

If you've ever seen cats in an alleyway eating out of dumpsters, or blending into the wild habitat of a wooded area, and wondered about their condition and how you could help them, read on...
Some of them, having been lost or abandoned, have found their way to a colony where they can survive amongst other felines. But the majority live out their lives as feral, or "wild", cats. Being either born in the wild and never having had human contact, or reverting to a wild state after having been abandoned; the great majority of feral cats cannot be tamed.
But feral kittens can be saved and domesticated if rescued young enough.
Please contact me if you are in Arizona, and would be willing to give a feral kitten a home. We currently have 3 baby cats under our home, who are about 3 weeks old, and will need to be enraptured by human intervention very soon, or they will be forever wild.
Thanks, Buzz. It's the agent that books the Gila River Casino gigs is sitting on the money for an extra week and it pisses me off! Just blowin' steam. Thanks again.
Hey Buzz, great to hear from you. If I ever kick this cold, flu, whatever it is I've had for 2 weeks - I'll try to catch up with you at a jam:) Take care man! Peace, J
