    Music, walking, being a beach bum. I like computers and build my own. Used to fly light aircraft, but licence not current at present.Learned to fly at Biggin Hill in Kent where I spent many long hours in a wonderful environment with like minded people. Also sailed quite a lot at Herne Bay sailing club in Kent. I also play about with a camera. Travel a fair bit to Ireland, and like France and Spain. Been to Switzerland,Portugal,Greece Belgium and even the Big Apple too. Did I say I like the sun sand and the sea?? O yes I think I did!. Want to buy me a pint?, I will love you forever.
  • Musik

    Folk,classics, and maybe a good ceidli. Great fan of Count John McCormack, and Robert White, who followed in his footsteps. Chatted to Ronnie Drew in his local in Summer 2007. Enjoy Mascagni's " Intermezzo from Cavalaria Rusticana" and Verdi's "Chorus of the Hebrew slaves" to name but a couple. Am honoured to have so many talented and wonderful people as friends here.
  • Filmer

    Not really a film buff, but happy to watch a good one.
  • TV

    As long as its sensible and informative, which means I dont watch a lot of television. However as I now have wide screen HD I enjoy some of the wonderful nature programs.
  • Böcker

    "Mount up with wings" by Mary de Bunsen. "A history of Biggin Hill" by Graham Wallace. Electronic/computer mags. Classics on a cold Winters night.
  • Hjältar

    The very talented Maeve Flanagan for allowing me to put her music on my page. We are not related, and anyway she is better looking than I am!

Info

Om mig:

I have been struggling with the fiddle for a while now, and I think I am winning. I used to live in Broadstairs Kent and always played at the Folk week there. Great week always. Used to do a few gigs in Jacksons Wharf Pub in Ramsgate Kent with a great group. They now play at The Tartar Frigate in Broadstairs every Wednesday night. Like walking, outdoor life. Moved to small rural village in Lincolnshire Wolds. I am a married bachelor with one cat and one wife.I come from a long line of Irish bachelors. I am a beach bum. I have been known to skinny dip. Give me the sun sand and sea to make me a happy bunny. No problems with a good barbeque either. Be warned, I have a sense of humour, well it helps to survive this mad world. Anyone for a Dublin Bay cocktail and a pint of Liffey water?? Born not far from Gleesons pub and The Punchbowl near Booterstown if you really want to know!! Special thanks to Maeve Flanagan for allowing me to put her music on here. Please support www.thebrooke.org ..   I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

Jag skulle vilja träffa:

Musicians all. A good sense of humour is a requirement A gentle way with animals and a hatred of those who abuse them.

    Thank you for the lovely compliments! Yes they came through just fine =)

    I'd love to send you a beautiful pic to go with this poem, but you have it set to not allow HTML codes =(
    So just the poem it is...

    Autumn Dreams

    I know the year is dying, soon the summer will be dead.
    I can trace it in the flying of the black crows overhead;
    I can hear it in the rustle of the dead leaves as I pass,
    And the south wind's plaintive sighing through the dry and withered grass.

    Ah, 'tis then I love to wander, wander idly and alone,
    Listening to the solemn music of sweet nature's undertone;
    Wrapt in thoughts I cannot utter, dreams my tongue cannot express, dreams that match the autumn's sadness
    In their longing tenderness."

    Hello brian, and welcome to my world =)

    I still get wildly enthusiastic about little things...
    I play with leaves. I skip down the street and run against the wind.

    If one could travel through time, what amazing journey's would await. The Renaissance period would be first upon my list. I love this period of history. Check out www.larf.org And see why I love it so much. Today was awesome. The Renfest rocks. Goodnight my sweet friend. Smiles, Diana

    Hello my new friend! You enjoy so many of the same things as I do. That is so neat; I hope we get a chance to make each other laugh! LOL So you aren't out at the beach today?

    A group of us, Skully's Angels, (Skully of Cork, IE) are keeping a candlelight vigil for the flooding victims in IE and the UK by changing our avatars to lit candles. If you'd like to spread the word that would be great. If you or anyone else would like to light their own candle that would be wonderful!

    Hugs,

    Honeymae

    The beauty of a true friend is that they look at you through the eyes of hope, not seeing the weeds, but the beautiful flowers that God is growing in the garden of our lives. Enjoy this new day, Smile and think how wonderful life is. Remember this friend loves you. Have a blessed day. Smiles, Diana
