I've been a student and researcher of vampire folklore, fiction, and fact since I first snuck Montague Summers' The Vampire in Europe and Bram Stoker's Dracula out of the adult stacks of the Spokane Public Library when I was in junior high school. I'm devoted to exploring the deeper meanings of the vampire in fiction and metaphor, and to exposing and debunking the sloppy assumptions, misinformation and nonsense about vampire folklore and fact that too many people take for granted. Yes, I am absolutely maniacal on the topic of vampires. By Light Unseen Media is my lifelong dream, a media portal for sharing vampire fiction and non-fiction in print, audio and electronic media that doesn't cover the same old ground as everything else out there.

My novel, Mortal Touch (July, 2007) is the first in The Vampires of New England series. Book 2, The Longer the Fall, was just released on June 1, 2010, joining the growing catalog of unique vampire-themed titles from By Light Unseen Media. The Longer the Fall received reviews from Publishers Weekly and Library Journal.

Anne Fraser's Gideon Redoak was released in August, 2009 after receiving a starred review from Publisher's Weekly. It's available now in hardcover, paperback, and e-book editions.

Christina Martine's Cat the Vamp, a YA novel with serious bite (this is not your mom's Twilight Saga!) was released on December 1, 2009.

Joseph Armstead's Krymsin Nocturnes was released on April 15, 2010 after being reviewed in Publishers Weekly and Library Journal.

David Burton's novel Blood Justice was released on October 1, 2010 after being reviewed by Publishers Weekly. David Burton has appeared at the San Diego Comic-Con in July, 2010 and Mysterious Galaxy bookstore, and will be doing more author events in the coming months.

Brendan Myers' novel Applewood, a story reminiscent of Stand by Me, Shadowland and Salem's Lot, will be released on May 15, 2011.

By Light Unseen Media welcomes our newest author, KT Pinto, whose novel Marco will be published in 2011. Marco is part of the Books of Insanity series which already have an enthusiastic following.
