Try out to get chosen to be in BYPDallas' "My Life Your Entertainment" Rip the Runway Event. Only Local artists in all categories will be featured and we are making our choices on Thursday, May 28th from 7-9pm at The Clarion Hotel Dallas. Be prepared to show your talent on sight and portfolios and samples are a must!Music will be available and you must perform or have samples of actual talent that will be presented at the show in June. The Black Young Professionals of Dallas provide a valuable and much needed social outlet for professionals of African-American descent who reside in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. Entertainment, networking, and community outreach opportunities are geared towards professionals aged 21-45. Our 2009 goal is to build a foundation as an expansion market, building off the successes in other cities.
To become a subscriber is free, and to become a card holding member,the cost is $10 with the option of $5 monthly dues.These funds go to offset production costs for exclusive BYPOD programming and funding our BYPDallas Emergency Fund for those active members in urgent need. Our events will range from intimate wine tastings, casual events, swank 'dress up' outings, fashion shows, community service, sports outings, nights at the theatre or comedy club, even family-oriented activities.Our goal is to offer a wide variety of events that appeal to a wide range of young professionals.
Whether your interests are networking, learning something new, or simply enjoying what Dallas has to offer, BYPOD is for you.
