About me:
Short story of Byrom i et Portrom (BiP)
In 2004 Oslo was celebrating its 100 year anniversary and the city council was cleaning up the whole city. In addition to its zero tolerance for graffiti, the council also banned people from putting up posters that promoted happenings or services. As an alternative celebration, photographer Christin E. Holthe created BiP and invited several street art and graffiti artists to collaborate in decorating a 12 metres long alleyway belonging to Dattera til Hagen cafe and bar. This event haas now become an yearly event, and is expanding every year, so watch this spot for exciting news about what will happen in 2008!
