BBFF, now its forth year, features 9 days of screening in beautiful Byron Bay.
The festival is always a huge success with many films being picked up for other festivals and with distributors pledging their support for our future years.
Now we're gearing up for BBFF 2010 Friday March 5th to Saturday March 13th with our special satellite screenings held in 2009. The Byron Bay Film Festival is an Australian International Film Festival that screens a diverse programme of films, of ALL LENGTHS and ALL GENRES, many of which reflect the interests and values of our unique local community - maintaining a strong emphasis on social and environmental issues, human rights, diversity and multiculturalism, creativity, indigenous culture, spirit, healing, connecting to nature, conscious thinking and positive living, music of every variety, colourful characters, humour and, of course being Byron Bay, surfing. Talented Filmmakers who want to get their work out there and gain recognition for their efforts. This is our BBFF Myspace for Filmmakers which means WE ONLY ADD FILMMAKERS or people who in some way work with or truly love film. We've set up a BBFF Myspace for Audiences where we'll add people who either live relatively close (Australia) or exude that Byron Vibe (You'll understand once you get here). The reasoning for this is so when we put our bulletins they're relevant to the people getting them.
