BYRON BOGUES BIOGRAPHY::::::::
Inspired by the great Omen-sound of Frankfurt and the labels Eye Q and Harthouse, Byron Bogues started making music with Carsten Fietz in 1993.
In 1994 they splitted and each of them began to build up his own Studio.
In 1995 Byron Bogues had his first release on Energized Records / Frankfurt.
Releases on many other labels followed.
At the end of 1996 he started his own Label, 440Hz Records, distributed by Neuton Medien in Offenbach (Germany).
After a good start he released 440Hz-004 (Byron Bogues – Unlimited Pleasure EP) in April 1997. At the same time he released Clockwork-010 (Byron Bogues – Gadget) in Belgium and as “Marc Hades” on Manmade, a new Intergroove Label (Manmade-001, M.Hades - Bassic).
These three records were played by almost all big DJs like Sven Väth, Pascal Feos, Marc Spoon, Gayle San and others.
After this big succes many majors like Sony, BMG, and WEA asked him for remixes.
He remixed Acts like Space Frog, Noisemakers and especially M-Razzia, which was re-released in 2002 on Masters Of Desaster with remixes of Thomas Schumacher and Marco Remus.
In 1998 he founded with his friends, Tobias Knobloch and Carsten Fietz, Choke Music.
The sublabels, Eruptive Records and 3D Records followed, all distributed by Neuton Medien.
Talented artists and acts like Holger Flinsch, 2 Dollar Egg and Kai Randy Michel were discovered by the Choke-guys, who made their very first releases possible.
Through the great succes, especially in England, Choke Music became the second best export-label after Kanzleramt Records of Neuton Medien.
So Byron Bogues, mostly known in England from his releases as “2 B” on Choke, was contacted by Special Needs Recordings.
He released Special Needs 005 (2 B – Trust Ur Receiver), which became a little hit and was played by many DJs around the world. Remixes by Bryan Zentz and Submeditation followed on Special Needs 008.
In the meantime he has also released on other big european labels like Invasion Records, BEL (Byron Bogues – Warm Coldness EP), and Fieber Records, GER (Marc Hades – Holosuite). “Holosuite” was taken by Pascal Feos and DJ Sebbo for the “Airport / Wuerzburg Compilation”.
In 2005 Byron Bogues started his new Label, Baby Bogues Rec., and had a very good start with his first release, “2B In Love”. In the meantime artists like Gabriel Ananda, Jens Zimmermann, Matt Star and Franklin De Costa appeared with releases or remixes on Baby Bogues.
In 2000 Byron Bogues started DJing, because he wanted to develope his music and he wanted to get this “live-feeling” by playing for the dancers in the clubs. Next target is to do real live-acts with all his machines.
Byron Bogues’ DJ-sound is Minmal, Techno and House. He played in almost all Clubs in Frankfurt and a lot of clubs in Germany. Currently he runs together with Robin Jacobs "Leben Durch Musik at the U60311 Ffm, where they play with the hottest acts, like Audio Werner, Oliver Lieb, Jens Zimmermann, Dave Shokh, 2 Dollar Egg a.o.
He also runs together with El-Mehdi the big CoNtour Parties, where he played with Ian Pooley, Paul Brtschitsch, Gabriel Ananda, a.o.
He played also at Radio HR-XXL (Clubtrax), Radio X (X-Fade) in Frankfurt, Radio RADAR (Rhythmix Night) in Darmstadt and Radio Unity in Gelnhausen. Currently he is resident DJ at the Monza-Club in Frankfurt, where he plays once a month with El-Mehdi.
We can be sure that Byron Bogues’ combination of producing, label-work and DJing continuously will take a big part in keeping the spirit of electronic music alive...

Some comments: Ronald van Norden (Eminor, Tracer, Tight Lipped): Definitely the best EP I've heard of BMM! Good work! Carsten Rausch: I really like Mario Plaza - Vocal Sense. All Mixes are nice, but the Original Mix is my fav. Full support for that one! Dave James: Vocal sense is cool, hypnotic mix is my fave. Galuszka: The original starts chunky and gets funky, a nice groove. The remixes by Luis Noic take it minimal. The Hipnotic remix revisits some classic techno sounds, love it. The Reddman: The Vocal Sense Track was very smooth. It was one of those tracks that make you want to just stand in front of the speaker, close your eyes and let the music take you on a trip to somewhere deep within your own mind.
