It is important for anyone who views this page to know that we have not sent out a single "friend request" in our conquest to be heard on myspace. We feel that sending out thousands of random requests would not only be ineffective, but would depreciate the overall value of all our efforts and elbow grease. It's just not what myspace is all about. Why would we want to annoy someone who doesn't even like our music with our event schedules and posts? It is safe to say that everyone of our friends is also a fan, (except for a few hot girls and personal interests that we just couldn't pass up) and we encourage other bands to have the same attitude. Don't turn myspace into a place of advertising and publicizing (there are many other sites available for that) or people will eventually get annoyed enough that they will no longer log into their myspace account. What good would this site be then? Nothing but a bunch of bands having sword fights [("never make them touch")http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkgMbU-we1o] inviting each other to shows and making the same posts over and over again.

BY THE WAYSIDE is a band straight out of Tempe Arizona. We like to play.
