Pretty much anything crafty, but especially jewelry. I tend to meet women in the grocery store with "Oh, I just love that necklace!"
Like the Jeep slogan, it's a bead thing and you wouldn't understand.
Music
I like alot of music styles, it depends on my mood. Big band, salsa, swing, bossanova, dixieland, jazz, ccm, rock, alternative, but pretty much it has to be clean. I'm not crazy about music that promotes irresponsible, shortsighted behavior.
Movies
LOL - any musical made in the 30's and 40's; "Donovan's Reef" and "Hatari!" with John Wayne; Elvis musicals like "Viva Las Vegas" and "Blue Hawaii"; Any of the BBC productions of Agatha Christie's "Poirot" mysteries, their "Chronicles of Narnia" series, and their production of Jane Austen's "Pride And Prejudice" is just outstanding. I watch a lot of movies!
Television
Star Trek (any version); Babylon 5; Firefly; Dragnet. If it was from the 70's and 80's, I generally watched it. Sick, huh?
Books
Star Trek again (hmmm, are we seeing a disturbing trend here?), Agatha Christie's Poirot and Miss Marple; anything by Clive Cussler.
Heroes
My hubby! He's the most amazing man I've ever met. Charming, a gentleman, has a great sense of humor and is highly intelligent. He's great with kids, very gentle especially with little ones (he's going to make one super grandpa). I love being married to him and sharing life with him.
About me: I'm a wife, a mom, an artist. My husband and I met in November 1984, and fell in love pretty much within a few weeks. We've been married almost 24 years now. (*grin*) And I'm still crazy about the guy. We have six children (5 boys, 1 girl) who are in their late teens and early 20's. Of course they're all good-looking and talented! Most of all though, they're kind, considerate people. So I really enjoy being around them. That's a good thing, because it makes homeschooling easier. We've homeschooled the kids since 1990 (well, there were a few years off in the mid 90's). That has pretty much been a blast. The last few years I'd also been a work-at-home-mom (wahm). I was able to do my artwork (see my website) while the kids did their schoolwork. Currently though, I'm working full-time at a department store to help make ends meet.

Who I'd like to meet: I was thinking I'd like to meet movie stars, or musicians, or whatnot. But I think I'd actually rather meet people in general. I like philosophers and intellectuals and clowns and goofballs. People are interesting!
I like the BBC version of " the Chronicles of Narnia" too! I own them all, better than the Hollywood version, I think. I also LOVE "Jane Eyre" and "Sense and Sensibility". :-)
