Caarjyn Cooidjagh are a group of singers based in the Isle of Man. They perform a selection of traditional and contemporary Manx songs, usually sung in Manx Gaelic, arranged by the group leader Anne Kissack. The nine women and five men who make up the group come from various musical backgrounds, but although they differ in their formal training (or lack of it !) they share an enthusiasm for Manx culture and good music performed simply. Their busy yearly schedule usually includes ceilidhs, church services, music festivals and the odd WI event

♫†əʞʎɯ†♪	Feb 14 2009 9:40 PM It's funny how they use to say Manx was a useless language ... sure seems angelic to me. Manx (yn Ghaelg) sounds better than its sisters, Irish (an Ghaeilge) and Scots Gaelic (an Ghàidhlig). I'm just glad they were able to revive Manx. You guys are certainly a big help to the sustaining of Manx in IOM. I'll be moving to the IOM when I'm grown really for purposes of being able to see the language used around the island, but the isle itself is phenomenal. Cheers!
