I am really digging Canton Jones right now, although I have only been listening to him for a few days. I also really like Toby Mac and DC Talk in Christian Music, which I listen to most of the time. Regular music, I am ALL pop, I like LFO, BSB, NSync, 98 Degrees, Nelly, Usher, Mariah Carey, etc. I like R&B and rap as long as it is not too heavy and edited.
Movies
I like sappy ones like Pearl Harbor, Tuck Everlasting, and other stuff like that. I heart Carey Grant and Laurence Olivier and other classics. I also like "Crime Noir" in black and white.
Television
Clean Sweep, House, Apprentice, Dateline. 48 Hours Mystery, HGTV Design Star
Books
Pretty much just the Bible right now, and occasionally Max Lucado. I just read Dear John by Nicholas Sparks.
Heroes
I strive to be more God-like. But I have my days. I don't really have any "heroes" per se, I guess I just want to be the best that I personally can be. Which is what I think everyone should do. I admire qualities in strong people, especially ones who have risen above a tragedy or major setback in their life. People who grew up with no issues bother me for some reason. It just doesn't seem right.

About me:

I am a wife to Richard, who is hardworking, honest and supportive; and a mom of three- Kahti is 16: giving and always on top of everything and working hard at her first job, Kelsey is 15:helpless and funny and with a crazy sense of style all her own and Anthony is 11:Mr. Macho man who still loves his mom and watching wrestling and playing football and locking up our church. My husband's nephew Caeden lived with us for a year but went home to his mom. He is 7: Mr. Attention seeker and My Cade man- "But, Auuuunnntt Karen" in his sweet little southern drawl cause he knows I'm a softie. I miss him! We live in Cabot, AR, but also lived 8 years in Valdosta, GA. We are originally from Charleston, WV. I am immensely blessed to be able to stay home after working full time for almost 8 years. I am getting lots of peace and quiet to make up for all the lost time when I didn't. I volunteer at A Woman's Place Pregnancy Center, which has always been a dream of mine. I also substitute teach sometimes. I go to First Baptist in Cabot and love my church family. I scrapbook, make cards and quilt. ..........
