CABRINI GREEN is the brainchild of one Nathan Green. Mr. Green has lived in various and sundry locations, but currently calls the lovely city of Austin, TEXAS his home. The CABRINI GREEN project began as a laptop-composed series of old school experimental electronic tracks with vocals by Mr. Green. After a montage sequence of improving his compositional and vocal abilities, and receiving a number of accolades from friends and well-wishers, Mr. Green brought his music into the online community, where he has collaborated with like-minded noisemakers METRODOME, TRANS-ATLANTIC RAGE, and DAN BLACKETT. CABRINI GREEN has received an enthusiastic response on Myspace, and tracks have been featured on the MUSICBOX program on Diversity FM as well as the programs GROSSE CAISSE and RIVERGIBBS.FM. The self-produced album WITCH DOCTOR was released in 2007. The album COLLABORATION NATION was released on the DIY label ALTERED STATE REFLECTIONS. Cabrini Green began performing live gigs around Austin in the summer of 2008. In 2009, I began DJ'ing and did some collaborations with H.P.D.D.
Music played in DJ sets includes hip-hop, dub, drum n' bass, electro, reggae, 8-bit, dubstep, Italo disco, and rock. If you're an artist interested in having your work included in my sets, please send me an e-mail. I am always looking for great unsigned artists to include in my sets...
