CABARET SAUVIGNON.
there will be performance.

there will be wine.
Cabaret Sauvignon is a performance/ music/ comedy/ dance/ film night, that happens in the inner west of Sydney every second month.
Cab Sav is a platform for arts- related experimentation, wine drinking and as much entertainment as you can handle.
There is a different house band featured for each installment of cab sav- So far cab sav audiences have enjoyed the music of exclusive names such as "The suitcase Royale" band, "Richard in your mind" and "Cuthbert and the Nightwalkers."
Then there are performances that range from comedy and film, to dance, theatre and various other hybrid or "bastard" forms of art/ entertainment.
The performances/art things are usually followed by a dance party that is epic in scale and lasts way into the night and then some.
Cab Sav is made up of a collective of artists and performers who join together bi- monthly to make this night possible. GPFS and dualpLOVER are touching rings for a third time with a massive zine fair and market just in time for x-mas and have upped the anti by combining the affair with a huge gig featuring the talents of naked on the vague , WOG, the warm feelings, garbage and the flowers + more TBA at sydney's newest hotspot DIY space plastic bag.
the markets will be held on the rooftop gardens level 4 in the the hiberian house building (342 elizabeth street surry hills) starting from 4pm and running til about 10pm while the gig itself (in suite 503) should start about 6pm and run until 2am at the lastest. markets are free the gig is $8
we are currently seeking stall holders for zines / comics / records / food and other DIY goods. please drop us aline at dualplover's profile if your interested in selling your wares. if you have a independent record label i'ld be happy to stock your wares at the dualplover table if your collection dosn't warrent a table of its own.
