I really like reading. New York has helped me regain my status as avid reader. I read about a book and a half a week and love it. I love parks now. I love food. I love football, friends, and food. I love being an artist/comedian/actor and I love that this city lets me do those things guilt free.

Books
Mainly funny ones. I like farces. Hitchikers guide and Harry Potter currently. Watership down, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, Interview with a Vampire. . . I also love drawing books and have starting writing my own poetry book. A great book that I just started called "LAMB a novel-The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal." Written by Christopher Moore. It might be the funniest thing I have ever read.
I just started reading the Gilda Radner biography, very moving. I just got into Kurt Vonnegut, love him. Tom Robbins- ALL of his stuff is pretty good. Stephen King also. Anything by Isaac Asimov. It's all cool
Heroes
I don't know. I think Karen who I used to work with. She is always true to herself. All the women in my life. They are so strong and powerful. Very different from me.
My heroes are any people who know themselves and can stay true to that no matter what the circumstances. I am envious of that.
I also look up to people that are able to recognize flawed humans and still embrace them.
About me: Hey everybody. I should tell you about myself.
I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. I had a great childhood, an even better run of highschool years, and then my life took a dump about age 17 when my family self destructed like a blind date with a 500 lb. serial killer. I got a little crazy- Took a couple of years to dismantle and put my life back together and forgot a couple of the pieces. But- I am still having fun and occasionally I still relapse into partial insanity. About two years ago I finally left my hometown and went to Arizona were I realized a new definition for boredom. It was a great time of reflection and afterward cleared the way for me to move to New York with two of my best friends. I left a lot of me behind in California and have been in New York for about a year and a half now. Living in Brooklyn and loving the ghetto lifestyle. I freelance and try to act and work stuff out in my life on the side. I miss all of my California friends, but realize the East coast might have more to offer me in terms of living my chosen path of being what I can be. Once you find your calling, "Never Never Give Up on Yourself" ~ Mr. Winston Churchhill.
That sounds a little heavier than intended
