I LOVE cooking, from scratch, probably because I also enjoy eating. heh Plus it's so much cheaper than eating out all of the time or buying pre-packaged unhealthy crap. I also have really enjoyed taking photos lately and would like to learn more about photography. I'm trying anything and everything at least once in order to find a hobby that I enjoy for more than 5 minutes, you know?

I’m originally from Michigan, now trapped in Virginia thanks to my husband's career choice (US Navy). We're living in Virginia Beach right now and loving it! We've been married almost 7 years with lots of ups and downs but we've somehow kept it together. We'll likely be pissing each other off well into retirement!
Although I do try my best to work as much as possible at home (freelance writing), my life is mainly all about the kids right now. We have two of the most beautiful heathens kids (a girl - 4 & a boy - almost 3) to ever grace this planet. They leave little time for anything else and once I'm done with that job for the evening I am too exhausted to do anything else. Especially now that they spend their days seeing who can get the worst head injury or throw "little people" the furthest. Seriously. But everything that I did before them seems like a waste of time anyway so I'm not missing the old life too much. Though I would love to use the bathroom without little hands under the door asking me if I "pooped yet". *sighs* lol

So yeah, Thomas has been gone just over 2 weeks now.. The munchkins are doing pretty good. Mylee had a few rough 1st nights, but is now great. She can talk to Daddy and not cry, and talk about him being on his boat and not cry!! Woo hoo!! Progress! Fatty Boy has no clue really.. Lol, as long as Mama is here he's ok!
