Well it all started with the death, buriel, and resurrection of a man named JESUS. Ever since then rock n' roll has been in motion and lives are being changed everyday. (In short- We are Christians who like rock n' roll shows)
The CCV inspiration comes from many different places. There would be too many people to thank for it's success.
We are a venue that is dedicated to OUTREACH. We are interested in the youth of our city and the surrounding towns. For far too long there has been little to nothing to do around this area for people without I.D. So we have opened up the first and ONLY club in Berlin for all ages.
Among many things CCV stands FIRMLY for righteousness. We pride ourselves on being a straight edge venue. "Straight edge" being that we want to promote a good message to our city and anyone who comes in through our doors. We refuse to promote: promescuity, violence, drugs, alcohol, fear, hatred (in any form), anarchy, etc. We do our best to bring in acts that are on board for bringing a professional performance to the stage and over-all just having a good time.

Therefore CCV reserves the right to refuse ANY band it deams as a threat to the integrity of which the CCV is founded. We also reserve the right to refuse entry or enforce the immediated dismissal of ANY person(s) that cannot or will not abide by the rules and standards of this venue. (We DO NOT apologize for ANY of the above and WE DO NOT NEGOTIATE ON THESE STANDARDS. Please keep these things in mind when dealing with us concerning future gigs or visits to the CCV.

We are always looking for Fresh, New, Up-n-coming acts who take their craft seriously and are looking to enlarge their audience. We DO encourage bands to bring merchandise to promote themselves and for the purpose of making money. IF YOUR BAND IS GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY ON STAGE THEN YOU'RE GOOD ENOUGH TO PUT ON A T-SHIRT.
