You seem to share Congressman Paul's dislike of the government, and you're not afraid to admit it. Unfortunately for you, Paul's disdain leads him to hold whacked-out opinions. Most notably, he's made the gold standard one of his central policy issues (hint: nobody's cared in 100 years...nobody really cared back then, either).
You probably are a decent chap, and we have no doubt that your beliefs are as logical as you claim. But we encourage you to acknowledge one essential fact: society at large is neither decent nor logical. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can join the ranks of the sane.

We're playing at Evening Muse in Charlotte this Saturday (tomorrow, or tonight depending on when you read this) and would love to see you while we're down. The Allman Brothers Band is coming back to Raleigh in August. Tickets haven't gone on sell yet but I'm guessing they will sometime this month. Also, Clapton is coming to Raleigh in October. I got tickets for Clapton when they went on sell this morning. You should check out the ABB this year.
