A banda foi formada em abril de 2004 por amigos e por simples e pura vontade de tocar punk rock.
No início, já tinhamos cerca de 5 músicas e ainda não tinhamos um nome. Nesse período os nomes mais bizarros nos foram dados por nossos amigos, como, por exemplo, "Drenagem Linfática". Porém, um dia foi sugerido, pelo Rafael (vocal), o nome Cadillacs. Todo mundo gostou mas depois achamos que num tinha muito a ver com o som e que já tinham mais bandas chamadas Cadillacs ou com Cadillacs no nome. Porém, como não tivemos criatividade para criar algo melhor e a sonoridade do nome é legal pra caralho, decidimos ficar mesmo com Cadillacs.
Os Cadillacs desde então já realizaram alguns shows, muitos deles com grande apoio dos camaradas do Sem Registro, e já dividiu palco com grandes nomes do punk paulistano como DZK, Deserdados e Juventude Maldita.
Desde o início da banda tivemos uma produção de sons em ritmo impressionante, sendo que 10 deles culminaram no nossa primeira demo, intitulada "Dando a Partida" gravada em dezembro de 2004 no estúdio Juice Box e lançada em fevereiro de 2005.
Agora estamos batalhando no difícil cenário punk nacional para divulgar nosso trabalho e tocar nos buracos espalhados pela cidade de São Paulo e por onde mais nos chamarem pra tocar.

The band was formed in April 2004 by friends and by the simple and pure will to play punk rock. In the beginning, we already had around 5 songs and not yet a band name. Through that period, the most bizarre names were given to us by our dear friends, such as "Drenagem Linfática ". Anyway, one day was suggested by Rafael (lead vocal), the name Cadillacs. Everyone liked it, but then we tought that it did not had much to doo with our sound and there were probably another bands named Cadillacs. But, since we didn’t had creativity to come up with something better and Cadillacs sounds cool as shit, we decided to go with it. The Cadillacs since then are performing in some gigs, some with support of the former Sem Registro guys and sometimes playing along great names of Brazilian Punk Rock such as DZK, Deserdados and Juventude Maldita. Since the beginning of the band we produced songs at an incredible rate, being that 10 of these songs were included in our first demo CD “Dando A Partida” recorded in December, 2004 at Juice Box Studio and released in February, 2005. Now we are struggling in the hard brazilian punk scene to show our work and play in the rat-holes around São Paulo and wherever else someone calls us to play.
