    .. ........ .. .. .. .. Cadaveric Engorgement was formed in late 2000 as a side project of the band Goregantua by original members Kyle Hartnaft, Roary England, Josh Cambell, and Kevin Welch. In 2002 the band became the main musical focus as Goregantua disbanded, and Cadaveric Engorgement began playing shows. 2004 saw the short lived departure of Josh Cambell having joined the band Hate Engine. Jon Godfrey formerly of Half-Gauge and Hate Engine was brought in to be his replacement. Shortly thereafter Jon took up duties as a second guitarist, and Josh returned to his position as CE's bassist. This line up would complete Cadaveric Engorgement's self titled demo, featuring classic CE songs Damned, Die For Jesus, Vile Requiem and Plague Bearer. .. .. For the next two years Cadaveric Engorgment continued with this line up until mid 2006 when Jon Godfrey chose to leave the band to focus on his career and personal life. In August, Cadaveric Engorgement recruited long time friend Phill Calvin of the recently disbanded Death/Thrash band Carnal Sin. .. .. The band soon thereafter with new and old songs recorded the bands first album in April 2007, entitled Plague Bearer. Though due to reasons beyond there control. Several set backs occurred with the albums release, pushing the release back a full year. .. .. In the later months 2008 Jon Godfrey returned for several months as CE's guitarist, as Phill Calvin had left the state to take care of his family. But serious family issues soon forced Jon to step down once again. Within weeks Phill returned to the band, and began writing new material for Cadaveric Engorgements next release. .. .. In January of 2010 Cadaveric Engorgement's vocalist and frontman Kevin Welch preformed for the final time opening for Cephalic Carnage on their Vaporfest tour. Immediately following CE took a short hiatus to work on new material and vocal styles, but are now quick at work putting the finishing touches on four new songs to be featured on a three way split CD expected to be recorded within the next few months. .. .. This will be Cadaveric's first release with Josh Cambell and Phill Calvin on lead vocals. ...... ............ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ......
