Caelum Entertainment is a boutique production company with major talent and countless years of experience behind it. Its founding members "Gaetano Lattanzi and "Lee Evans" are a group of creatively driven industry pros from all corners of this vast business. As producers, our music has touched major artists from Marc Anthony, Cyndi Lauper and Shemekia Copeland to hip hop legends such as Afrika Bambaataa. As performers, we have toured the world and have been called legends in industry circles. Collectively, we are unstoppable. Caelum Entertainment was born when our lives--personally and professionally--converged in a Manhattan recording studio one evening. From then on, we built this company on the caveat that our music--whether it be rock, pop, R&B or hip hop--will be organically developed, creatively unique yet still commercially viable for a worldwide audience. Since we produce our songs with laserpoint precision and spend countless hours in the pursuit of perfection, our company is selective in the artists we choose to sign and develop. The Caelum team has access to the world's top equipment, sound designers, songwriters, composers, DJs, studio musicians and engineers who will execute our vision for our stable of artists seamlessly. Because in the end, when a label sees the Caelum logo emblazoned on our final product, they will feel confident investing in creativity, investing in perfection, investing in a career, investing in the best.

In this world of sampled music technology where one note looped rhythms have become common place and is the basis of today’s top hits, songwriter/producer/musician Gaetano Lattanzi stands out above the rest. Gaetano is one of those unique rare breeds of artists playing and being equally proficient on nine organic instruments. acoustic and electric guitars, upright and electric bass -- even sitar. Add to the equation drums, world and Latin percussion, acoustic and electric keyboards, vocals and harmonica, and he's a veritable one-man show. R&B, pop, rock and beyond, his musical categories are limitless.
Most recently, Gaetano has been developing songs for Bad Boy Records, producing Robert John Burck also known as "Naked Cowboy", composing for a reality show called "13 Weeks" and scoring some of the most aired commercials on TV". He's also been co-writing songs with blues artist Shemekia Copeland, an artist who he has collaborated with to sell 500,000 units on a song titled “Stay a little longer santa” in 2006. He’s been in the studio with New Orleans legend Dr. John for Shemekia’s album titled “Talking to strangers” which made it’s way to 1 on Billboard for best blues album. He is also due in the studio with the legendary Wood Brothers first quarter 2008.
Born in Queens, New York, Gaetano grew up speaking a trio of languages: Spanish, Italian and English. From his mother, a Peruvian flamenco gypsy vocalist, lyricist and poet, and his father, a Roman-born jazz drummer, he was immersed in diverse music and cultures. Equally resonant were the classic soul and blues artists: B.B. and Albert King, James Brown, and their spiritual heirs, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Prince and Lenny Kravitz.
At age 15, his family relocated to California where Gaetano cut his teeth playing in fledgling bands. After a move back to New York, he returned to the West Coast on his own and began concentrating on songwriting, arranging and collaborating with artists. He drummed for Clayface, a funk/rock aggregation that shared bills with Green Day, The Pharcyde and co-founded a duo called Ajatano; that rocked audiences with an inspired mix of flamenco and pop, opening concerts for Babyface, Shaquille O'Neal, Shanice and Mana.
Behind the board for the label American Empire Records, Gaetano sharpened his arranging and production chops as he became schooled in all aspects of recording, from budgets to content. Back in New York, he continued to build a reputation as a staff producer, composer and engineer with Jambox Recording Studio where he added sound design, mastering and vinyl restoration credits to his résumé of indie film video and game projects, in addition to recording signed and unsigned bands and artists in all styles.
Among his strengths both musical and technical, flexibility is possibly his most marketable attribute. Having worked in hot box environments, Gaetano is capable of creating under intense deadlines. Blending ProTools technology with real instruments to breathe life into sound, his catalog of savvy, hit-driven songs is ever-expanding. As a creative partner, he welcomes collaborations with songwriters and artists.
Whatever the situation, this empathic, enterprising and evolved writer/producer is open and prepared, as he breathes in tune and in time to the rhythms and sounds of a creative heart.
Lee Evans (LeRoi Evans) is a Gold Album/award winning Producer/Songwriter/Engineer/Musician, and a long time veteran of the music industry. With over 30 years background in the music industry, starting as a child, Lee Evans wrote, arranged, played piano and sang for young harmony group “The Fourth Edition” a group that went on to win amateur night at the Apollo a whopping 6 times, sharing the stage with the likes of Michael Jackson, James Brown, and other legends. After attending such notable schools as "The High School Of Music & Art (NYC)" and "Oberlin Conservatory” (Ohio), Lee Evans set out on his musical life journey. As a keyboardist, Lee became a band member and musical director. In his early years he performed with and frequently led top recording with acts such as “The Jimmy Castor Bunch” “Brass Construction” The Force MDs, “New Edition” “Afrikaa Bambaataa”, “Willie Colon” “Johnny Gill” “Kleer” “Bionic Boogie” “Joe Simon” “The Coasters”. On the local scene he did a stint as the house band keyboard player. Here he backed up such notable artists like Johnny Kemp, Me'lissa Morgan, and Keith Sweat.
Lee Evans is a natural born musician. He brings passion, authenticity and timelessness to his musical creations. As a songwriter/producer and recording engineer , Lee Evans many accomplishments include his work with singer "Marc Anthony" in the early stages if his career, "Cindi Lauper" , "Harry Belafonte", "The Force MDs", "Brass Construction", "Afrikaa Bambaataa" and a long list of dance Hip Hop and “latin freestyle” favorites from the ‘80’s and early 90’s. During this time, Mr. Evans became a familiar face in the most prominent NYC studios and earned recognition as a one of NYC’s top multi-keyboardist / producer /songwriter / engineers.
After over a decade on the road playing in the “Madison Square Gardens” and hottest clubs of virtually every major city nationwide, Lee embarked on several world tours, earning international recognition for his musical abilities. But sadly, the road was really starting to take its toll on him and his family, by not allowing him to spend the much-needed quality “family time” and eventually splitting them apart. Lee Evans then decided not to go on any more lengthy tours. He stood by his word by turning down an opportunity to tour internationally as the opening act for Madonna’s "La Isla Bonita" World tour.
Lee Evans started a small Fostex 4 track recording studio in his tiny basement apartment in the Bronx. “It was always tight and hot as heck down there. Guys would say it felt (and smelled) like a sweatbox but man...we used to Jam!”. Thus the name JAMBOX was born. Some of the pioneers of today’s music that came up to record at his studio include, latin artists Marc Anthony & Willie Colon, Afrikaa Bambaataa Jazzy Jay,, Queen Latifah, Doug E. Fresh Lori Michaels, Sa-fire, The Cover Girls, TKA, Amoretto, Cyre, The Cold Crush Brothers, The Force MDs, Brass Construction, Rainy Davis, Glen Jones, DJ Jose “Animal” Diaz, and many more.
In 1989, JAMBOX relocated to midtown Manhattan. JAMBOX has expanded to a 3 room recording facility offering new and unique music services. Lee Evans and Cathy Palmisano co-own JAMBOX Entertainment and Recording Studios. JAMBOX Studios has become a major player in the current NYC music scene.
In 1996, Lee Evans started the “AET Audio Engineering Course”. AET is a low cost audio engineering course designed to teach the “tools of the trade” to up and coming artists producers etc. The AET Audio Engineering Course utilizes a low cost, effective and personal down to earth approach to audio education.
Mr. Evans is also a co-founder and the music director of non profit organization, Reach Out Inc. (www.reachoutinc.com). Reach Out Inc. educates and promotes awareness about the perils of illegal drugs, alcohol abuse, tobacco, crime, violence, prejudice, and life threatening diseases such as AIDS. Reach Out Inc. accomplish this through the use of very unique, interactive, high-energy, fun-filled presentations that intertwine music, dance, and motivational speaking.
As of late, Lee Evans has been involved heavily in various projects with his partner musical and business partner Gaetano. Gaetano and Lee are the men behind the music at Caelum Entertainment, a boutique music entertainment and production company.
